I have uploaded the video titled ‘The Rhythm of びゃびゅびょ and Other Contracted Sounds’ to the members’ page.
In this video, you’ll practice the rhythm of contracted sounds using pairs such: as
びょういん（hospital, 病院）
びよういん（hair salon, 美容院）
じゅう（gun, 銃）
じゆう（freedom, 自由）
ひゃく（hundred, 百）
ひやく（great leap/ rapid progress, 飛躍）
And you’ll also learn to say ‘Kyoto’（きょうと、京都）in Japanese.
The video will cover the mora of these words as well as their natural rhythm.

By the way, I finished watching the Japanese drama ‘サンクチュアリ’（Sanctuary）, on Netflix last night.
It contains too much violence compared to the dramas or shows I normally watch, and you might pick up a lot of bad words from it, but the story was very intriguing. I couldn’t stop watching it. I’ll write its review soon!
