Part 4-4 "The Intonation of Ending Particles 2" is available now

みなさん、こんにちは。

The Intonation of Ending Particles 2 is available now for our paid members.

You'll learn about the Intonation of the ending particles, じゃない、じゃん、よね、かね.

These ending particles make your speech livelier, so let's master their intonation!

じゃない has both affirmative and negative meanings.

So this sentence, さくらじゃない can mean

"They are not cherry blossoms." or

"They are cherry blossoms!" depending on how you say it.

It can be confusing, right?

But please don't worry. One thing to know is that when it's a negative sentence, you'll say な high, and い low. When it's an affirmative sentence, you'll say the ない part low.

You'll hear how both variations by watching the video.

In writing, you can't hear the sound. So it's quite confusing.

A while ago, there was a misunderstanding between my son and his friend because they took one じゃない differently.

That has happened to me too. So I recommend you don't use it in writing.

I hope you'll enjoy the video.

Have a great day :)
